TINARIWEN-Amassakoul
If you are thinking about buying a Tinariwen CD, you're probably familiar with their music. This CD is exactly what you would hope to expect - unusual in its musical style, with those unique guitar & vocal sounds. Well recorded & produced, I can recommend it very highly

X-Ray Music
There are a lot of great dubs on this CD, but the last track, Prince Jammy's "Dub is my Occupation" is one of his masterpieces. I reckon the CD is worth getting for that phenomenal track alone, but its got all those other great tunes as well. highly recommended.

King Tubby-Surrounded by Dreads at the National Arena
There are some great tunes on this CD. As a massive King Tubby fan, & having bought lots of his music over the years, I'd say there are one or two real scorchers on here. All the tunes are worthy of the King Tubby name. Unfortunately, the sound on this CD is extremely poor. It sounds as though it was just recorded off an old, crackly record. I don't think there has been any remastering. I think this is a King Tubby record ripe for remastering & rerelease, but in this format, it isn't one I can particularly recommend, except maybe to completists.
